The manager has NVQ level 4 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development.
The supervisor has NVQ level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development.
We aim to have as many qualified staff as possible, offering them support and encouragement to expand their knowledge through training. Our current cohort of staff have either NVQ level two or three, are progressing through this qualification or about to start.
We have bank staff who cover sickness and holidays. Although not qualified these staff have years of experience and receive training relating to the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We are committed to safeguarding all our children at the Hollies, therefore rigorous checks including Enhanced DBS checks are carried out before the employment of a new member of staff can commence.
We aim to have every member of staff Paediatric First Aid trained through Millie’s Trust. https://www.milliestrust.com/
All staff must agree and abide by the policies of the setting regarding discipline etc and will be subject to the disciplinary process if they are found not to do so.

All staff are carefully selected, and a very high standard of commitment is demanded from them to ensure the best possible care for your children.
