The Hollies is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for children and young people to be cared for and educated in. All members of staff working with children have a legal duty to take action if they have a concern about a child in their care.

The Hollies believe that it is always unacceptable for a child or young person to experience abuse of any kind and we recognise our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people, by a commitment to practice which protects them.

We have a Safeguarding policy and Further Safeguarding policy in place, both of which are updated regularly.  You can view our safeguarding policy here

 

The setting has Designated Safeguarding Lead, Debbie Moore-Grundy and a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Rachel Willoughby.  Both members of staff regularly attend training provided by Cheshire East.  All the Hollies staff have annual training and regular updates during staff meetings.
