Rain, Rain Go Away

Autumn has officially arrived and with it has come LOTS of rain. This last week has been an exciting week for our children in Afterschool. We have had a visit from the PCSO's, it has been Halloween and Bonfire Night all in one week!!

On Tuesday the Police Community Support Officers came in to talk to all the children about keeping safe when out and about in Poynton. They talked to the children about making sure they find a safe place before crossing the road.

The man at the traffic light should be green before we cross.

Make sure you 'Stop, Look, Listen and Think' before you cross the road.

The Hi-Vis jackets make sure we can be seen in the dark.

We have spent a lot of time inside over the last week because of the rain but the children have been drawing some amazing pictures.

Our home corner has become a doctors which has been a great hit. The children have enjoyed helping to make the animals, babies and each other feel better.

We are looking forward to another busy few weeks and hearing lots of exciting stories from your children about their weekend ;).
