We have had a very busy couple of weeks at Hollies. We have been making our own dens and having a relax after lots of playing.
The children absolutely loved our new tents. We have got a dinosaur, a bee and a shark and they are awesome. The children turned them into their own little houses and had some great play inside them. Some of them played Mum's and Dad's, some had lots to chat about inside and some filled them with absolutely EVERYTHING they could find, including the ride ons!!
We have also enjoyed the little bit of sunshine that has come and have been doing lots of gymnastics on the mats and have had great fun on the seesaw's.
The sand and water trough's have been a hit. We have been mixing in lots of different materials and making potions in the water, we have made volcanoes in the sand and we have absolutely loved tipping and pouring with the water, especially when it splashed on us and cooled us down.
We had a brilliant time at the Teddy Bears Picnic and Sports Day and would like to thank you all for coming and making the day so special for the children, they loved it.
The teddies all had a great lunch full of smiles...
How well did the children do at sports day? They were all amazing. We had so many laughs and we know they had so much fun.

In the midst of all the fun we have had, somehow the end of another year has snuck up on us, but what a year it has been.
Some children started with us when they were just 2, some have only been with us for a few months and some we knew before they even started. Each one has grown into an amazing little person and we are so proud to have had a part to play in helping them growing up. We have made some amazing memories and loved watching them learn, play and change over the years. This week we will be getting ourselves ready to say goodbye (with lots of tears) and making sure the children have an amazing last week. Each one of your children has made a special place in our hearts and it will be very hard to watch them go. We know they will all be amazing at school and are ready to start on a new adventure.
We would like to wish them all good luck at school and we can't wait to hear all about it at the fence. Please send us some pictures of them in their new uniform so we can see how grown up they all look.
From everyone at Hollies we would like to say thank you for all the memories and good luck on your new adventures. You will all be getting lots and lots of hugs this week whilst we try and get ourselves ready.
