Our Holiday club is open to all children aged from 2 to 11 during non-term time weeks. We are however closed between Christmas and New Year and we reserve the right to close other weeks or certain days if numbers deem it is not viable to open. We are open from 8.00am to 5pm.
Bookings for places are usually taken 2-3 weeks before the start of each club and are payable at the time of booking. Hollies pre-School children wishing to attend Holiday Club do not have to book their usual Pre-School sessions. You can book just for what is specifically required. Please view our fees and sessions schedule here
Our Holiday Club leader will theme each Holiday Club and plan activities around that. We have had themes, such as Carnival, Space, Medieval and the Olympics. We have use during these weeks of Lower Park fields and the trim trail (weather permitting) as well as our own facilities and resources.
At the Hollies, we aim to work towards an environment in which children can develop self-discipline and self-esteem in an atmosphere of mutual respect and encouragement. We understand that children flourish best when their personal, social and emotional needs are met and where there are clear and developmentally appropriate expectations for their behaviour. We believe in promoting and nurturing positive behaviour and are committed to teaching children how to behave in socially acceptable ways and to understand the needs and rights of others. Anyone associated with the Hollies should work towards promoting and maintaining the positive ethos and stimulating environment of which we all have a sense of belonging and are justly proud.
