All 3 and 4-year-old are currently entitled to 15 hours’ free childcare per week for 38 weeks a year under the Universal scheme. All 2-year-old claimants for Free Entitlement will need to provide us with your confirmation letter and unique code from Cheshire East. The extended offer of 15 hours of free entitlement for 3 & 4-year olds was brought in by the Government from September 2017 and is being offered at this setting for the academic year 20-21. You must apply directly via the Digital Childcare service to obtain this funding if you are eligible. You will be supplied with a unique code if you do fit the criteria which has to be written on the parental declaration form and then this is verified by us. The websites that you need to refer to are as follows:

You can claim any Free Entitlement at this setting between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm. However, you can only claim for up to 10 hours per day as per government guidelines. If your child attends from 7.30am to 6pm you will be charged for half an hour on those days. Any booked sessions more than your entitlement will be charged for at our current hourly rate. The Free Entitlement offer at this setting is for 38 weeks per year and term time only.

If you are eligible for Free Entitlement, you will be required to complete a parental declaration form or re-sign for every term in the academic year indicating your claim. These declarations need to be completed even if you do not intend to claim your free entitlement from us. We will provide you with your declaration form on a termly basis. If your child attends another setting you are still able to split your vouchers between 2 settings. The setting that you are claiming the Universal offer of 15 hours must be stated.

It is important to remember that 30-hour eligibility codes must be reconfirmed periodically via Childcare Choices.
